Small Cabin Steel is an independent music publishing project dedicated to original steel band compositions, arrangements, and educational resources. Founded by composer and music educator David Singhaus, Small Cabin Steel brings together a love of music, a commitment to music education, and a belief in the lasting value of thoughtfully crafted repertoire.
Through original works, carefully prepared arrangements, and resources for steel pan ensembles, the goal is simple: to help musicians discover new music, give educators meaningful material to teach, and create work that continues to inspire long after the final note.

As a composer, arranger, percussionist, and educator, David Singhaus approaches music from both sides of the music stand: as someone who creates it and as someone who understands the work involved in bringing it to life with an ensemble.
